ABOUT PEAK DANCE NIGHT
MORE THAN A NIGHT OUT.
Learn the steps, meet new people, and find your own rhythm on a country swing dance floor in Provo.
THE PEAK EXPERIENCE
COME FOR THE DANCING. STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY.
Peak Dance Night brings country swing and line dancing together for a night out where beginners and experienced dancers can share the floor. You do not need to arrive with a partner to get started.
START WHERE YOU ARE
EVERY NIGHT STARTS WITH A FIRST STEP.
Beginner and advanced lessons start at 9 PM, and teaching continues throughout the night. Come ready to learn at your own pace; you do not need prior dance experience to join in.
Line dancing is done as a group, so you can step onto the floor on your own. Partner dancing is social, with partners swapping throughout the night.

GOOD TO KNOW
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to feel ready for a night of country swing and line dancing.
The Basics
Do I need a partner to come dancing?
Absolutely not. While many people come in pairs, line dancing is a solo activity performed in a group. For partner dances, people often social dance and swap partners throughout the night.
I've never danced before. Can I still join?
Yes. We pride ourselves on being beginner-friendly. All nights start with a dedicated beginner lesson where we break down the steps slowly, and we teach throughout the whole night.
How do I know which dance to do when a song starts?
Most songs have a standard line dance associated with them. If you're unsure, look to the front of the floor. Teachers and experienced dancers usually lead the way.
Dress Code & Footwear
What should I wear?
We encourage Western casual: jeans, flannels, or sundresses. Be comfortable, and feel free to lean into the theme with hats, fringe, and belt buckles.
Do I need cowboy boots?
Cowboy boots look great and provide the right slide for the floor, but they are not required.
What shoes are best for dancing?
Look for shoes with a smooth sole, such as leather or hard plastic. Avoid heavy rubber-soled sneakers because they grip the floor and can cause knee strain during turns. For safety, flip-flops and open-toed shoes are not allowed on the dance floor.
Dance Floor Etiquette
Where should I stand on the floor?
Anywhere you want.
Can I bring my drink onto the floor?
No. For dancer safety and to protect the wood floors, drinks are not allowed on the dance floor. Please leave them at your table or on the drink rails.
What if I mess up a step?
Don't sweat it. Keep moving or step to the side of the line to find your footing again. The goal is to have fun, not to be perfect.
House Rules & Planning
Is there an age limit?
Peak is 17+.
Do you sell tickets at the door?
Yes. We recommend booking online for special event nights or popular concerts to guarantee entry.
Do you offer private lessons or event bookings?
We do. We can help with bachelorette parties, corporate team builders, and private one-on-one sessions. Please visit our Contact page for pricing.
